Greenbelt Animal Shelter is in need of donations. Because of the Covid-19 Pandemic they are closed to the public until further notice and can only accept newly purchased items as donations. If you think you can help, check out their site here or find them on Facebook.
GAIL - The Greenbelt Assistance in Living Program was established in 2001 and is available to senior citizens residing in the City of Greenbelt, Maryland and/or caregivers of a Greenbelt senior. The goal of this program is to provide information and support to enable seniors to remain in their homes.
Greenbelt News Review - Published by the Greenbelt Cooperative Publishing Association, Inc., it was established in 1937 shortly after the construction of Greenbelt, one of The New Deal Green Towns. It has been published weekly without interruption since that time and is delivered free to most Greenbelt residents.
Greenbelt Co-Op & Pharmacy – Community owned and operated market and pharmacy featuring organic foods, beer & wine. It's open to everyone you don't have to be a member to shop and save. Wine tastings are held Friday afternoons.
Buy Nothing Greenbelt & Greenbelters - These are 2 great community groups on Facebook that can connect you with your neighbors. Buy Nothing is a group that foucses on gifting, trading and offering all sorts of home and personal items. Greenbelters is a group who shares stories and news of our local happenings.
